About Us

Originally founded in 2003 as an Installation company, CKi Kitchens soon realised that it had the expertise to develop into a strong and competitive kitchen design and installation company.


The first showroom opened in the summer of 2005, based at the Cowdray centre, Colchester. Moving to the larger premises at Elmstead Market in 2006, and more recently expanding to a secondary showroom based in Sudbury.


The success and growth of the company over the last 8 years is due to our excellent network of products and services giving us the aility to say 'yes, we can' to all of our customers requests.

Director / Project Manager

Robin Beattie

In 2003, Robin joined with two close friends in creating an
installation company, that over the years grew into CKi Kitchens.

Born and bred in Colchester, Robin is the local face behind a local
company.

Robin started working life training to be an engineer, specialising in
quality assurance management. This gave Robin a great foundation,
with his high level of organisation and a philosophy of continuous
improvement translating into a great level of customer service.

Sudbury Designer

Position Vacant
If you’re the Designer / Salesperson we’re looking for...
You’ll be… Friendly, charming, enthusiastic and conscientious…
You'd be described as having a keen eye for design and a sales
driven approach. You will be responsible for giving design advice to
Clients, conducting surveys, preparing designs and quotes, and
completing the sale. You will be very creative with excellent
presentation skills. You will have a confident and inspiring sales
technique showing great attention to clients requirements.
You will have at least 5 years' experience of Kitchen retail, design,
planning and sales and be fully conversant with Kitchen design
software, preferably 'Planit fusion' but not essential.

Elmstead Designer

Rebekah Lyness

Born & raised in Colchester, Rebekah is the newest addition
to the CKi team.

With over 20 years experience in kitchen design and planning,
Rebekah brings with her a wealth of knowlegde and know-how.

As a mother of three, Rebekah knows first hand that a kitchen is
the beating heart of any home. She is passionate about
interpreting the needs of every customer and strives to deliver their
dream kitchen.
